Jay

I went to watch Jay's concert with Ban on Friday. I didn't know that Jay was born on the same day as MS until he mentioned during the concert that it was his birthday.

I enjoyed myself tremendously! He sang mostly songs from his last 2 albums. Ban was critical about Jay's selection of songs (too many "new" songs), his hairline, rounder face and the flow of the concert. I do agree that the flow could have been smoother but that didn't affect me too much. I don't think his die-hard fans care either! Haha!

I was pleasantly surprised when he sang 《黑色幽默》, one of my favourites! Jay looked cool playing the 古筝 too!

方文山 made his presence felt by writing some phrases that were shown on the projection screen during the oriental segment. This particular phrase stroke a chord in me:

英雄——不过几个章回的潇洒!

How true!
