It was a great Sunday yesterday, despite my lack of sleep.
We started the day early at the Museum. The Greek Civilisation exhibition was fantastic! If Lourve isn't undergoing renovation, we wouldn't be so privileged to view the magnificient pieces at home. The volunteer guide was very good, making our trip a really worthwhile one. If you are interested, do check out the National Museum website and make sure you are in time for the guided tour. We started ours at 11 am and the tour lasted for an hour plus.
After a cultural and historical morning, we went to Funan to view electronic gadgets. YQ didn't manage to buy his ePC as the model is currently out of stock. After lunch, he made his way to Chinatown while I went to meet Vi and the gals.
I spent quite sometime looking for Bakerzinn which is no longer at Raffles City. In the end, I stood outside Swatch to wait for the rest to turn up. We were supposed to meet at 3 pm but Vi came first at 3.50 pm! It was such a long wait. Luckily the rest (MS and XL) turned up shortly.
We finally found a place to sit (THOS) and ordered our drinks. All of us were excited about Vi's soon-to-be borned baby girl, Angelise. Not long after, WJ came with Baby Caeden and we aunties were busy catching his attention. Ha ha.
It's great to be able to spend a cozy, lazy afternoon with friends and it's really amazing to see your childhood friends turn into mama(s)! 17 years ago, we were still wearing the white and blue uniform, playing basketball and volleyball in the super big basketball courts! Time really flies! 不认老都不行!
