当圣诞派对变成中秋联欢会

过去三年，我们都在平安夜开派对。今年轮到CH举办，派对的主题早在两年前已定下。然而，人算不如天算，先是MS会在那段时间坐月子，然后是CH会出国。结果，我们把圣诞派对改成中秋联欢晚会。

于是上周六，我们大伙儿来到遥远的油池一带提早庆中秋。

这就是早在两年前就已敲定的主题⋯⋯


今年一切从简，所以往年的“最佳服装奖”也取消了。不然，谁肯牺牲色相打扮成福娃就应该会获奖！

这是我们当晚的晚餐！除了CH亲自炒的猪脚米粉，还有HM熬的白木耳鸡汤、林志源肉干、Sarpino比萨⋯⋯


庆中秋当然少不了猜灯谜。这次的谜底全与新加坡有关，极富本地色彩！


大人们绞尽脑汁的同时，两个小孩儿也正开心地自我娱乐着！不知何时，义衡和舒庭竟为了一个橘色的桶争了起来！


九点钟左右，我们开始吃月饼⋯⋯


月饼太多，胃太小，大家都开始投降了！

正当我们准备下楼提灯笼时，老天却不做美，开始下起倾盆大雨！我们只好打道回府！

“Event of the Year”就这样画上了句点。不知明年的“主办单位”又会有什么另类的点子？哈哈！

Nice Long Chat on a Friday Evening

I finally met up with RJ last night.

The last time we met was sometime in Feb. Both of us were still enjoying our "tai-tai" life then. I remember we spent the lazy afternoon at Ngee Ann City's Coffee Club, counting the number of LV bags in the cafe at that time.

Time flies. It's been 6 months and many things have happened within the short span of time. Well, both of us have put a stop to our tai-tai life. She is currently enjoying her new job (especially the shopping discounts that she is entitled to), busy online-shopping and enjoying her enhanced lifestyle as a result of their new car purchase! :) It's really nice to catch up with friends. We were so engrossed in our chat that I didn't even realize that we have spent 3.5 hours at TB's Coffee Club!!!!!

We have agreed to meet up again soon. Hopefully, it won't be that long. Should be before her Stanchart Run, I hope! :)

Ha, RJ commented that I have not updated my blog for a long time. Yes, I think I am not as diligent as before. Other than the cliche excuse "I'm too tired after work", I think the main reason is that I have nothing interesting to blog about. Other than working and eating, my life is quite empty. Perhaps it's time to do some spring cleaning - really need to clear the clutters in my mind and heart. Ha, it's time for me to reflect on my life (AGAIN)! :)

又大吃大喝了⋯⋯

過去兩天，我瘋狂地吃東西。

星期二MS放假，我們到Purvis Street的Miss Clarity Cafe吃午餐，兩個人點了很多吃的。這只是冰山一角。哈哈！

吃飽後，我們到羅敏申逛了一段時間，然後又到Canele喝下午茶。



昨天，我和XY在翡翠小廚用餐，巧遇在附近工作的HF。HF提議找一天唱K，結果我和XY在TCC喝完咖啡後決定擇日不如撞日，我們三人晚上繼續唱K，直到將近凌晨兩點才回家。哈哈！

XY介紹了幾首超爛的歌給我們聽，結果我邊看邊笑到流眼淚！

還有，我們還是別再爭論到底阿信、王力宏還是金城武比較帥了，永遠不會達成共識的啦。哈哈哈哈哈！

雖然有點遲，但還是要祝你生日快樂！

你知道我們最想聽到你的甚麼消息，不想給你壓力啦，只是我們太久沒有“辦喜事”，怕姊妹團的“功力”會銳減。:)

人活著最重要是開心。你快樂，我們也快樂。

謝謝你這些年來的守護，我的世界崩塌時，是你陪我走出陰霾。即使做了很多人無法理解的決定，但你一直是很supportive的。我唯一能說的，只有謝謝。

最後兩個小時，生日就過了，盡情享受吧。:)

奇妙的部落格

幾分鐘前，我看了DC的部落格。

每次看完後，都有種莫名的傷感。字裡行間蘊藏著淡淡的憂愁。我說不上來，或許是他慣用的語言，或許是他的思路，又或許是他的情感作祟。我不知道。即使是快樂的事情，也帶有一種失落。又或許是我想太多了。

通過部落格認識一個人，了解他的過去，這種感覺很奇妙，也很奇怪。

有點錯愕。我们竟然點了一样的食物，不同的依然是時間和空间，结果還是没能遇上。

然而，即使遇上了又如何？

哈，希望你会活得开心一点，不要常常愁眉苦脸。当然，还是希望你能给我们机会当你的“姐妹／兄弟”，不要只顾着工作赚钱，还要留意周边有没有颜如玉！:)

VivoCity & Shopping "Loot"

Yesterday afternoon, I was at Vivocity. I decided to go there earlier so that I could "explore" the place before meeting MS for dinner.

My first stop was Bakerzin. After studying the menu for 15 minutes, I finally ordered a "classic tea special". I chose the Vanilla Chocolate with Marshmellows. It was a bit too sweet for me.




For my classic dessert, I ordered the Chocolate Souffle. Ha, both the dessert and beverage were high in cocoa content. Not my usual style, I would say.



While indulging in the sinful act of eating, I eavesdropped again. The conversation between the mother and daughter sitting beside me was quite interesting. Maybe I was too bored. Eating alone can be quite lonely at times.

After eating, I went shopping. Errr.... I mentioned before about quitting shopping but ..... ok, not quite successful yet. I bought a top from GAP and made a pre-order for something (to be revealed later). I think I was possessed by the shopaholic spirit again.

MS reached Vivo at about 7 pm. We were walking towards the escalator when HM spotted us and called my name. What a coincidence! I seem to be bumping into her at Vivo always. HM said she was meeting her friends for dinner and CH was on his way to join them.

We parted and continued with our hunt for food. We settled down at Hog's Breath Cafe. The restaurant is having some promotion for ladies on Tuesdays so we managed to get quite a good deal.


I ordered an Atlantic Salmon. Not too bad.

After dinner, we went shopping at Daiso. This is my favourite shopping place this month! I bought 6 items. YQ asked me why I bought the pink gloves. He suspects that I am going to murder him soon and needs them to conceal my fingerprints. I think he is right. Haha.


I like the hooks I bought. Now, my pink bathroom slippers have a wonderful place to "hook up". Hahaha.


After admiring my "loot" from Daiso, I cooked myself a simple lunch. I was too lazy to go and buy KFC. I have been craving for KFC since Monday... ...

PS: Time to change the bedsheets and do some housework. Cannot be lazy anymore. If not my "boss" will fire me. Sob sob!

Night Out @ Ajisen

I had dinner with MJ last night. It was quite a last minute decision as I only texted her in the late morning. Luckily she was free and could join me at TBP.

We went to the newly opened Ajisen. I remember going to the Bugis outlet once a couple of years ago and didn't find the ramen delicious. But last night, I decided to give the restaurant another chance.

We managed to get a table rather quickly. It was not as crowded as I thought. After flipping through the menu, we placed our order.

The soup was quite nice but oily. The ramen was so-so. I won't mind going there again as the food was better than I expected. Well, I had very low expectations to begin with.

We chatted for a long time and the conversation revolved mainly around the topics of "work" and "colleagues". The 2 ladies sitting beside us were having a rather interesting conversation and I think both MJ and I were distracted at some point in time and couldn't help eavesdropping. Quite unethical but we just couldn't help it.

After we paid our bill, we stood at the MRT station talking for another half an hour. Haha. Long-winded women!

I wish both of us would have better luck in our so-called "career". We have to be patient and keep praying!
